This California Privacy Notice supplements the PHERALO Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. YELA BRANDS LLC, doing business as PHERALO, provides these disclosures whether or not every provision of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), applies to a particular interaction.
Notice at collection
We may collect the following categories of personal information for the purposes summarized below. We retain each category only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, taking account of legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, warranty, dispute, and operational requirements.
- Identifiers and contact information: name, email, telephone number, account identifiers, IP address, and billing or shipping address. Used for accounts, orders, delivery, subscriptions, support, communications, security, and marketing choices.
- Customer records and commercial information: payment and transaction information, products viewed or purchased, cart activity, subscription history, returns, and preferences. Used for checkout, fulfillment, recurring orders, support, personalization, analytics, and recordkeeping.
- Internet or electronic activity: device, browser, cookie identifiers, referring pages, page views, interactions, and advertising activity. Used for site operation, security, analytics, personalization, and advertising.
- Approximate geolocation: general location inferred from IP address. Used for security, regional settings, shipping availability, and analytics.
- Audio, visual, or similar information: photographs, videos, reviews, or recordings you choose to submit. Used for support, reviews, and content you authorize us to use.
- Inferences: likely interests or preferences inferred from shopping activity. Used for personalization and marketing.
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. Payment credentials are generally handled by Shopify and payment providers.
Sources and business purposes
We collect information from you, automatically from your device, from Shopify, and from providers supporting payments, fulfillment, subscriptions, communications, customer support, reviews, analytics, advertising, and fraud prevention. We use it to provide and improve services, complete transactions, service subscriptions, communicate, secure the store, prevent fraud, comply with law, and perform marketing and advertising according to your choices.
Disclosure, sale, and sharing
During the preceding 12 months, we may have disclosed the categories above to service providers and contractors for business purposes. We may also have shared identifiers, commercial information, and internet activity with analytics or advertising partners in a way that California law may define as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under the CCPA.
Your California rights
Subject to legal exceptions and verification, you may have the right to:
- know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected;
- request deletion of personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of sale or sharing of personal information;
- limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, if applicable;
- receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.
How to exercise your rights
Use Your Privacy Choices for sale/sharing and targeted advertising opt-outs, submit our privacy request form, or email support@pheralo.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line. Describe your request and provide enough information to identify your account or transaction. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. You can use an authorized agent, but we may request signed authorization and direct identity verification.
Where supported, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending the signal.
Financial incentives
We may offer discounts or promotions in connection with voluntary email or SMS enrollment. Material terms are presented when the offer is made. Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe method provided. We estimate the value of the offer based on the value of customer engagement and the costs associated with the program.

Additional U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence and whether its law applies to our processing, you may have rights to confirm processing, access your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, receive a portable copy, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising or profiling used for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions and verification where permitted.
Use our privacy request form or email support@pheralo.com. You do not need to create an account to submit a request. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify a request for access, correction or deletion; an opt-out request does not require account creation. Authorized agents may submit requests subject to applicable authorization requirements. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Response times and appeals
We respond within applicable statutory deadlines and notify you of any permitted extension and its reason. If we decline a request, we will explain our decision, subject to legal restrictions. Where your state grants an appeal right, choose “Appeal a privacy decision” in the request form or email support@pheralo.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject. Include your original request reference and the reason for appeal. We will review the appeal and respond within the applicable deadline. If an appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general or other competent regulator.
Opt-out signals and device choices
Our privacy choices page offers browser-level controls. Our data sharing opt-out form lets you submit an opt-out using your email. Supported Global Privacy Control signals are honored for the browser sending the signal. Settings may need to be repeated across browsers and devices or after deleting cookies.
